ORIGINAL ART vs STORE-BOUGHT ART
What makes a person want to purchase original art or a limited edition fine art print vs a mass produced product from Home Goods? (disclaimer: I think Home Goods has lots of great items, and I shop there, too!)
My new customer (and old friend),Carey, shared a few of her happy thoughts on owning one of my limited edition prints called “Frosted Village”. She recently had it matted and framed, and sent me some photos of how the print fits in her home.
I especially love how she dared to be different with the "blush"color she chose for the outer mat. Here are some excerpts from the note she messaged me the other day:
My hubby LOVES it too...colors, village, and where I hung it. He generally doesn't notice artwork or anything for that matter. He keeps remarking about it. And that is amazing.
We are just now changing over from kid house to adult house. See all the junk on the couch - mirror, clock.
I love to look at it as I am flicking the light on/off when I run upstairs.
It really is just lovely. "A thing of beauty is a joy forever." Yeats or Keats? I dunno, but whoever it was, he was so right. Thank you so much for giving me pleasure everyday.

Thank you, Carey . . . the pleasure is mutual!
